Yo! Finally back to blogging after I MIA for 3 mths. Well, the feeling after major exams were over was great! Having loads of fun tgt with my loved ones and dear 8.1! Loads of events had been lined up for me after tt! Had outings tgt with my JC best gal-frens, went for prom and finally climax: Taiwan trip with my mother, godma and my jiu mu! I will nvr forget the first tym i sat on plane with excitement and flew to a place i had yearned to go=)

After the taiwan trip and a short break, i had started working with sjie and mq. Haha met alot of frens, some of whom r the same age as us and also funny but serious at work de team leaders! I had mixed feelings during the working period coz sometym i loved the job i am doing but sometym i dun xD But overall, i think is satisfactory. Haha from working, i noe hw to open up my social circle and expand my boudary and even being exposed to the real-life working society. Sounds cool yah? But,i prefer studying more=)

Anws i jus had a wonderful chalet with my dear 8.1 at changi! Wow i definitely and totally loved tt place! Got seaview and beach..beautiful scenary sia! But most importantly, with a group of da3 bu4 si3 de 8.1 in it tgt! Thanks nich and his family for getting us this chalet and preparing the bbq stuff for us! Many thanks!=)

Time really really flies... andd the three 8.1 brothers, Recruit Ang, Recruit Choo and Recruit Goh are alrdy being enlisted. Say truely, it's she3 bu4 de2, like dun noe y there is sth missing xD But jiayou bros in army! All the way! 8.1 jie3 mei4 will be all behind supporting u all! =)





8.1 forever!=)

A Precious Milestone.

 It has been a long while since I last posted about my rant about work. Fast forward to a year on, things have become more exciting and has been a roller coaster ride with the arrival of our baby, Hong Yi <3 I was thankful that the pregnancy journey was overall a pleasant one, surrounded with care and concern from people around me. Indeed, I felt like being treated like a 'queen' hahaha. I was 小感动 to meet  rare strangers who would step up to ask the other strangers to give up seat for me on MRT. The multiple visits to Dr Khoo's clinic were also pleasant and exciting because I got to see the baby scans (although some tests would make me feel a little jittery xD). The labour and delivery process was a whirlwind when Hong Yi decided to arrive as a pre-national baby. Despite the pain from contraction and pushing when HY's head was still stuck, I was thankful for Dr Khoo's swift action to get me out of the distress quickly. "You are so kind," the maggie mee boy muttered.  I was surprised to hear that, and I asked him to repeat himself again.  "You are so kind." "Oh, why did you say so?" "You let me do what I want." The old me would be feeling soooo happy to hear such a compliment.  However, I realised I don't really feel that way. Instead, I was curious to find out what had made him say that. I later made sense that he has hardly encountered much kindness acts from others as he is always being scolded by others.  And my action during that session might have made him feel that he is being treated nicely and he appreciated that. Thank you for reminding me to be kind.
