The tutioning session with the T-Edge kids were messy but hilarious ytd! It was messy because the kids were very hao dong and kept talking to their friends. The secondary school science is so difficult!! All of the tutors dunow how to do:X I remembered got one qns is about food chain, then the qns wants the students to name the trophic level. But, what is trophic level in the first place?? None of us knew. So we asked the kid to skip this qns first :X

Haha one of the kid in my group always makes me laugh ^^ Last saturday, he tried to make fun of me in the taxi by saying, "Mummy, I want milk milk" when the taxi uncle asked whether the 4 kids in the taxi belongs to me -.-" Ytd, when Pooi Chin, Gary, James and I were talking about GE, the kid asked me who I support. He kept pressing me to say out the party I am supporting although I said I am on neutral stance. And he took away my phone, saying, "If you don't say who you support, you will not see ur hp again". And the rest of the tutors all laughing! LOL but he automatically returned back to me after a few minutes la, putting it into a big big plastic bag before he gave me xD Haha when the guys started talking about football, James said he supported Liverpool and Man Utd sucks! LOL. Immediately, got one kid (Pro-Man Utd) chased after him inside the room! Haha yay got 3 kids support Man Utd like me :DD

And dunnoe why, I was kind of touched by one of the kids when she hugged me and said, "see me next week" before she board the bus at the bus stop.

The tues tuitioning session is not really stressful and I have bridged closer tutor-tutee relationship with the kids :D I am really glad that I have gained their trust and they are willing to share their own stuff with me(: I will cherish the times spent together with these kids (:

"You are so kind," the maggie mee boy muttered.  I was surprised to hear that, and I asked him to repeat himself again.  "You are so kind." "Oh, why did you say so?" "You let me do what I want." The old me would be feeling soooo happy to hear such a compliment.  However, I realised I don't really feel that way. Instead, I was curious to find out what had made him say that. I later made sense that he has hardly encountered much kindness acts from others as he is always being scolded by others.  And my action during that session might have made him feel that he is being treated nicely and he appreciated that. Thank you for reminding me to be kind.

Motherhood.

  [Inspired by Annette to pen down postpartum thoughts] There is no sugar coating of the fact that the '4th trimester' and beyond has been the toughest one thus far. One thing about motherhood is that there will countless of adjustment to adapt to. Just when I thought that I have adjusted pretty well to the new routine, and to the little human, another waves of adjustment came along. My patience has been really put to test in motherhood, and am learning to cope with the mental stress. My parents have always said that I love to 'Pa Pa Zhao' (go everywhere), because I really do - catching up with friends, doing handmade stuff, and going on local staycay and overseas trip. The start of motherhood has  led to me 'mourning' about the loss of my freedom to go out anytime (especially during this vacation), and self-judging my declined efficiency to complete the tasks that I planned to do.
