Yoz! Hmm..I left about 2 more weeks working in shoe shop! Hahas..after a few rounds of so called reflection, i think i that it's stll a job..must look on the brighter side! 1hr $4..is still money. So yup..work hard to earn each and every pence!
Anws we had a third stock check at Plaza Sing. overnite again! wahahas. We checked only one of the divsion nia. Toys, lugguages, bicycles, cds. My "nightmare" during that nite was to scan the huge heaps of cds, vcds as well as dvds with a Indian worker la. Oh my god, it was like alot..alot of discs scattered around la..and had to be really careful sia. Then there was a boss. He was POWER. LOLS. His voice loud loud de..under his command, everyone started working. he was quite funny la. hahahas.When it came to our break time..meaning supper time, we saw no sign of nich. la. Hahas, my gang said that he also want to be the best part-timer like me. heex.. actually no la..the person in-charge there wanted him to finish his work before he makan lohx. Phew, we were quite worried about him sia.Then initially, we wanted to go back to look for him but to no avail coz he was on the 1st level la! The funniest thing was that the boss helped us to call him..so loudly " Calling for nicholas!" X2. hahahas..so yup.. that's quite a fun stock check again!
Aww.. but after that, i had to go to work at the shoe shop.. and to make it more dramatic..i had to work full time la! In the end, i got only less than 2 hrs precious sleep! LOLS. Then my friends who went with me for stock check earlier said i siao le..heex. One of them even said " Ai ya, money is everything!" hahas..i want to say now is "Money is not everything!" I went for the third stock check bcoz it was fun and meaningful and with friends, all the hard work is worthwhile la. =)) WOW. fours yrs of friendship mahx =DDDDD
Anws let's continue. Hmm..nowadays, I had been continuously heard about environment stuff.. and even gotten bad news and info from Avaaz in regards to the environments stuff. So now, if any of you see my blog, I want to urge all of u to start help saving the earth. Really. I think time is running short. After a numerous yrs of destroying the forests and natural habitats due to rapid development, i think we should put a stop to it. Not to stop the development of course, but to reduce the damage to the forests and natures. I bet all of us noe the importance of forests bcoz they help to remove the CO2 in the air.. but then, why many of the ppl are still destroying them? Many of u will said that we had no choice.. we have to keep up with the competitive world.
However, I would said that these ppl are being selfish..Humans are selfish ppl. I can't denied that i will also become selfish during certain times. But i will never ever do harm to earth! So wad if they killed alot of trees, destroy the natures "accidentally" and build alot of stuff which helped to bring in loads of money and income? Although it will help to improve the lives of the ppl and gain some recognition from the world but then it is juz a moment of glory. I REPEAT IS JUST A MOMENT OF GLORY.In the end, we still can't bring money into netherland. Really, isn't that true? Sheng bu dai lai, si bu dai qu. How meaningful is this chinese phrase. Humans will only deeply understand the dangerous situations they have slipped in when smth bad really happended right before their eyes and death is drawing nearer. A million of years ago, the earth was full of natures, carefree and "stress free". But it had to suffer the brutal treatment by the humans today. Why? Why? Why? The earth accomodates us but yet most of us did such a thing to it..I really hope that we should apply those we had learnt in school to protect the natures..in this case geography into actions! Action speaks louder than words! Well, there had been some rumours that the world is going to come to an end soon..But juz think about it. What is the reason for this to happen? It's all our doings that make things hasten alot faster...cutting down of trees, contributing to most of the air, land and water pollution, killing the natural habitats thereby leading to the threats of extinction of animals, marine creatures as well as plants with precious medical values. This thus results in greenhouse effect and global warming...If we dun start to protect our earth well.. the ice caps at north and south poles will melt at a faster rate..flooding the low-lying areas...droughts, floods and famines will worsen.. causing huge death tolls and everyone will be frantically searching for the best solutions. But it will all be too late.. so why can't we start to take precautionary measures right now???
Everyone in this world bears a responsibilty to protect the earth well. We should allow our future generation to enjoy living on earth with greenary and beautiful scenery.. not tonnes of problems and potential dangers for them to overcome... we should all practise sustainable development. We can apply the basic responsibilty in our daily lives.. not wasting water, not littering, air-con should be set at 25 degree cecius and so on. For the bigger tasks, i would urge the ppl who are much more influential to reduce the cutting down of forests and clearing of land, as well as urging their ppl to help to protect our earth together as a team. There is no "I" in the teamwork. We all got to cooperate with one another.Money is not everything. Power is not everything. Happily living together safely in this world on earth is the one which i think most of the people would really like to have.United we stand to curb all these problems facing us. I believe that if we are all willing to put down that "selfishness" in us, we will make the earth a better place to live in ever.If we don't, who will? =)))))
