Yoz! 27 days have passed and here i am again! Hahaha woot very excited to blog about my birthday!

Yup, my birthday was superb! Before my real birthday, meiqi, shijie, brenda, eileen, liying, jiamin, yilu, val, nich, bk, adam celebrated Audrey and my brithday at serangoon garden! I am really happy! Coz it was raining heavily and they made an effort to have dinner with us! We had a great fun having chicken rice- cum- steamboat tgt! Oh ya, I even saw my ny pe teacher! She didn't recognize me! LOLS!Anws, I rcv cards and presents from many of them and I am really touched. At night, I was reading the cards they gave on my bed. I started crying! Woo so emotional right? But really, I am really touched! Touched by their msges to me. Thank You!=D

On my birthday itself, I totally could not get myself to study! Ahhh, my birthday mood! I was so excited! Thanks mother for cooking ji1 dan4 mian4 xian4 for me and father for your ang bao! Thanks auntie for buying a pair of nike shoes for me and sharing with me alot alot of meaningful things! Thanks Ahyi- cum-Godma for asking my cousins and bros (plus their gf) to celebrate my birthday with me! Thanks also for treating me dinner at ichiban sushi! Thanks mingjian gor gor's gf for gaving me a bouquet of flowers! Thanks shunyu gor gor's gf for gaving me a box of yummy choc!Thanks mei mei and her bro for the ice cream oreo cake and shirt too! Hahahs. I rmbed i forgt to asked my mother to put ice cream cake in the freezer and it melted! But it still looked prsentable thoughXD.

So i thought my birthday was over and i dun really expected my class to celebrate my belated birthday. But they did in the end! I was surprised and touched again! The gals gave me a moon-shaped necklace which symbolises me! Hahahas. Thank you 0820! =D
All of you, xinmin friends, nanyang friends, family, relatives, auntie and mei mei, thank you sooooo much =)

Yup and i was kinda bo liao to count how many birthday msgs rcv. There was a total of 14 msges! Hahahas. Thanks for all ur birthday wishes!

A Precious Milestone.

 It has been a long while since I last posted about my rant about work. Fast forward to a year on, things have become more exciting and has been a roller coaster ride with the arrival of our baby, Hong Yi <3 I was thankful that the pregnancy journey was overall a pleasant one, surrounded with care and concern from people around me. Indeed, I felt like being treated like a 'queen' hahaha. I was 小感动 to meet  rare strangers who would step up to ask the other strangers to give up seat for me on MRT. The multiple visits to Dr Khoo's clinic were also pleasant and exciting because I got to see the baby scans (although some tests would make me feel a little jittery xD). The labour and delivery process was a whirlwind when Hong Yi decided to arrive as a pre-national baby. Despite the pain from contraction and pushing when HY's head was still stuck, I was thankful for Dr Khoo's swift action to get me out of the distress quickly. "You are so kind," the maggie mee boy muttered.  I was surprised to hear that, and I asked him to repeat himself again.  "You are so kind." "Oh, why did you say so?" "You let me do what I want." The old me would be feeling soooo happy to hear such a compliment.  However, I realised I don't really feel that way. Instead, I was curious to find out what had made him say that. I later made sense that he has hardly encountered much kindness acts from others as he is always being scolded by others.  And my action during that session might have made him feel that he is being treated nicely and he appreciated that. Thank you for reminding me to be kind.
