I had a great day tgt with my OG, scarecrow and family, Bad Boyz ytd!!! Met up with them for lunch at amk hub before going for the teachers' compass ceremony. Since we had time before the ceremony commence, we went to search for our childhood in arcade! LOL. We played basketball and Daytona! Playing arcade baskeball made me think of u, sj! LOL. I noe u will smile when u see this. Haha. I love to play Daytona too, although i may not be a pro in it! xD

We were all given a personalised plaque with a COMPASS during the ceremony! It's REALLY a compass! Haha and i smiled. Coz i can fully make use of it for geography! LOL. While being awed by those things MOE gave us, we listened to talks, reciting teachers' pledge and sing national anthem. I had not sang national anthem as a school for so long! Haha felt good after singing that with NIE school mates (: After everything, we went for some light refreshment and took a lot of pictures! Some of us(including me) were wondering if our OGLs (but most imptly, our family head, Andy) are joining our gathering anot. LOL. And guess wad? No one has his no. except me! My goodness. Those who know i have his no. xia dao! But yuan wang ar... his no. is found inside the orietation camp list leh xD Anws, i faster passed his no. to the ppl who want to call and ask him to join us. Lol. But in the end, he didn't reply :X Nevertheless, the gathering continued. Ha.

We went to selegie there to play console-cum-board games while waiting for the time to fly so that our malay frens can break fast(: Haha fun, fun and more fun! We used wii to play console games (hands were so tired xD), pictionary and ugly dolls tgt! We screamed and laughed out hearts out! Haha. A bunch of crazy teachers-to-be inside the room xD Took alot of pictures again before we went to swenson for dinner!

Omg i am wondering if i am really too gullible or "innocent" or wad coz i have no idea wad the rest were saying about in regards to BGR and very personal stuff (I only know about traffic light colour when i went to the camp).LOL. But i guess it's better not to know alot about this kinda stuff. It makes me feel more "purer"? Ha. Anws after dinner, they wanted to walk to sgp river! LOL. But in the end, we went home coz we were procrastinating for too long. Haha. Kian Long encouraged those who didn't go clubbing before to go zouk! LOL. My parents will scream at me if i really go there and drink. But maybe i shld go there to see see only? Haha KIV first xD

A Precious Milestone.

 It has been a long while since I last posted about my rant about work. Fast forward to a year on, things have become more exciting and has been a roller coaster ride with the arrival of our baby, Hong Yi <3 I was thankful that the pregnancy journey was overall a pleasant one, surrounded with care and concern from people around me. Indeed, I felt like being treated like a 'queen' hahaha. I was 小感动 to meet  rare strangers who would step up to ask the other strangers to give up seat for me on MRT. The multiple visits to Dr Khoo's clinic were also pleasant and exciting because I got to see the baby scans (although some tests would make me feel a little jittery xD). The labour and delivery process was a whirlwind when Hong Yi decided to arrive as a pre-national baby. Despite the pain from contraction and pushing when HY's head was still stuck, I was thankful for Dr Khoo's swift action to get me out of the distress quickly. "You are so kind," the maggie mee boy muttered.  I was surprised to hear that, and I asked him to repeat himself again.  "You are so kind." "Oh, why did you say so?" "You let me do what I want." The old me would be feeling soooo happy to hear such a compliment.  However, I realised I don't really feel that way. Instead, I was curious to find out what had made him say that. I later made sense that he has hardly encountered much kindness acts from others as he is always being scolded by others.  And my action during that session might have made him feel that he is being treated nicely and he appreciated that. Thank you for reminding me to be kind.
