My New York Fish and Chips!=)

Yoz! yesterday I had a fun time during the 405 class gathering!


So yup, shijie, brenda and i met at compass first before we headed down to bugis to meet eileen and meiqi they all. When we reached there, we found out we were the earliest to reach lohx..hahas so proud of ourselves for being punctual. We were supposed to gather at 5.30p.m de.. but in the end we only go to makan by 6plus. Izzul can't eat steamboat so we changed it to fish and co.


At the fish and co., i was surprised that there was 2 long tables being reserved for us! hahas, actually is thankz to malvina and eileen bcoz we went there before us to book tables for 23 peeps. LOLS. Heard from eileen that the waitress were shocked to hear 23 and they were like rushig to arranged tables and chairs for all of us. So grateful to them nia.


The waitresses at the fish and co. at bugis were very polite and friendly. They were always smiling at us all the time and were ready to serve us anytime! EXELLENT SERVICE indeed! So i ordered one new york fish and chips and many of them also ordered the same too. While waiting, i kept taking out my camera to take pics. HAHAS=D


So makan makan makan.. makan halfway felt a little full.. so stopped for awhile before i continued. A scrumptious dinner indeed:D So my table was the fastest to finish our meal so went out of the restaurant first. Then juz outside it, there was a open space..so we decided to play bonding games.


To begin with, we played shijie's fav. game, who wat huh? LOLS! It was simply hilarious la! All the while laughing when we said wrong stuff and our heads turned wrong direction. Then we changed to chinese version.. ni wo huh? LOLS.. plus actions! While playing, the rest came to joined us too. After the 1st game, we went on to the 2nd game, which is mao1 zhua1 lao3 shu.3 LOLS..i could see that many of them can't really count how many mouse being caught.. coz when bk raised his hand to say wan4 shui4, they all simply followed! HAHAHAS...like bk was controlling the whole game.. but i got also.=)


Coming up next, the games started to get rather hiong. The 3rd game was : Do u love your neighbour? LOLS.. this game included some physical running. LOLS.. then i suai, i tio. Therefore i did some forfeit. I had to go to a stranger nearby to say : Hi, good nite , have a nice day. Si went up to one of them , said hi, explaining y i wana do that and carry on with my forfeit. When i came back, everyone laughed coz they said that i do forfeit do so long de. HAHA.


Lastly, it came de chao hiong de game, suggested by me coz i played it in NY. HAHAS!!!!! Is the "chop chop" game, name being suggested by brenda. Heex. So by playing that game, we had done some exercise. Very funny and fun! Espcially bk's action la..lols, he was like very "light" and was zooming here and there. Although we collided into one another during the game, we really enjoyed de game very very much! So we ended our gathering at 10 plus. Then we took mrt back home. Home Sweet Home =D


A really fun and high 405 outing indeed=D

A Precious Milestone.

 It has been a long while since I last posted about my rant about work. Fast forward to a year on, things have become more exciting and has been a roller coaster ride with the arrival of our baby, Hong Yi <3 I was thankful that the pregnancy journey was overall a pleasant one, surrounded with care and concern from people around me. Indeed, I felt like being treated like a 'queen' hahaha. I was 小感动 to meet  rare strangers who would step up to ask the other strangers to give up seat for me on MRT. The multiple visits to Dr Khoo's clinic were also pleasant and exciting because I got to see the baby scans (although some tests would make me feel a little jittery xD). The labour and delivery process was a whirlwind when Hong Yi decided to arrive as a pre-national baby. Despite the pain from contraction and pushing when HY's head was still stuck, I was thankful for Dr Khoo's swift action to get me out of the distress quickly. "You are so kind," the maggie mee boy muttered.  I was surprised to hear that, and I asked him to repeat himself again.  "You are so kind." "Oh, why did you say so?" "You let me do what I want." The old me would be feeling soooo happy to hear such a compliment.  However, I realised I don't really feel that way. Instead, I was curious to find out what had made him say that. I later made sense that he has hardly encountered much kindness acts from others as he is always being scolded by others.  And my action during that session might have made him feel that he is being treated nicely and he appreciated that. Thank you for reminding me to be kind.
