Yoz! Today I had attended the LIVE PW. It was rather fun and interesting. Not as boring as some of the lectures.Hehex. So it was an enjoyable session.

Next, today there was also cca bazaar. Wide variety of ccas. New ccas were also being set up, such as Service learning service and Pets and animals club. LOLS. Know what? When i saw rose and farah today, they came up happily to me and ask me whether i am interested in joining their new cca, !Joke club? HAHAHAS. Very funny la. And i said yes! After our PW festival, shijie, rose, farah and I sat together while waiting the cca bazaar to start. During waiting, we were laughing really hard about the !Joke Club and wanted to propose this new cca to Mr Quek. LOLS and i started the ball rolling by asking Rose to take out a piece of paper and a pen to write down the proposal. It looks like the following:

Proposal to set up !Joke Club as a new cca in NYJC:

-President: Rose
-Vice-preisdent: Farah
-Members- Shijie, Ming Hui, Jamie, Peiyu, Rachel, Jasmine and some others too

Objectives: To relieve stress and to train our next generation in becoming future comedians

Acitivities:1)Competitions: April Fool's day, Valentine day etc
2) CIP: To bring smiles to the children and the elderly
3) To provide entertainment for the college

LOLS! And we took this written proposal to look for him in the general office.We were laughing till our stomach hurt during the way la.Shijie laughed until she can't step into GO and i accompanied her outside while brave rose and farah went in to find him.But the clerk said that he had a meeting then and told them to look for him tmr. It's really very gao3 xiao4 la! Really LOLS lehx! XDDDDD

Then i saw my OG mates and asked them whether they want to join our new cca anot. Then yy mistooken, thought is CHOKE Club! LOLS she even asked is *cough cough* club huh? hahahas..Then rose said that my friend is the potential joker member!The rest of them thought we were insane. Anws, this new cca drew attention to the others we know and some even wanted to joined in like Jasmine, Peiyu and Rachel! Wahahas.While still giggling about Rose's interesting and new cca, we went to near MPR there to play haunted house game. Shijie, rose and i went in tgt lohx. We were lost inside the room for very long! Coz we could not find our way out! XD During the 'journey" in there, Yixuan was also in the dark dark room acting like a hangman. We saw him and giggled at him.Even wanted to take a pic of him.And he smiled. LOLS. It was not scary except the part when someone suddenly screamed into my ear! WA! Ear pain at that instant but went away fast though. Before we went out of the room, we scremaed our lung out to pei4 he2 them. LOLS.

After that, we went down to the cca bazaar to take a look. It was better when compared to the first cca bazaar. Quite enjoyed it.I went to sign up for alot of ccas! Guitar Ensemble, Chinese Drama, Biz Club, The Drum, ODAC and even Pets and Animals Club! So many ccas which i am interested in. But which one shld i choose? That's the question i am still pondering over rite nw. Hehex. Wow and there were many guys competing with one another in doing pull-ups. They were soo kiang3 and cool sia! There was even a student councillor guy doing 21 times for the pull-ups la. Shiok sia!

So yup, today is the only day this year which i have ever laugh sooo much before la. LOLS. It's really funny! I bet shijie also has the same sentiment too since she was laughing all the way until she told me that she had not much voice-cum-energy left. LOLS. Let's hope that our proposal for our NYJC aka NanYang!JokeClub will be a great success and that Mr Quek will accept it.XD

A Precious Milestone.

 It has been a long while since I last posted about my rant about work. Fast forward to a year on, things have become more exciting and has been a roller coaster ride with the arrival of our baby, Hong Yi <3 I was thankful that the pregnancy journey was overall a pleasant one, surrounded with care and concern from people around me. Indeed, I felt like being treated like a 'queen' hahaha. I was 小感动 to meet  rare strangers who would step up to ask the other strangers to give up seat for me on MRT. The multiple visits to Dr Khoo's clinic were also pleasant and exciting because I got to see the baby scans (although some tests would make me feel a little jittery xD). The labour and delivery process was a whirlwind when Hong Yi decided to arrive as a pre-national baby. Despite the pain from contraction and pushing when HY's head was still stuck, I was thankful for Dr Khoo's swift action to get me out of the distress quickly. "You are so kind," the maggie mee boy muttered.  I was surprised to hear that, and I asked him to repeat himself again.  "You are so kind." "Oh, why did you say so?" "You let me do what I want." The old me would be feeling soooo happy to hear such a compliment.  However, I realised I don't really feel that way. Instead, I was curious to find out what had made him say that. I later made sense that he has hardly encountered much kindness acts from others as he is always being scolded by others.  And my action during that session might have made him feel that he is being treated nicely and he appreciated that. Thank you for reminding me to be kind.
